JUNIOR TOURNAMENT IN WILLAND ON 31st OCT
Several of our junior players went to Willand to a tennis tournament on 31st October. For most of them this was their first tennis competition outside our club. Unfortunately, the afternoon tournament for the over 10’s had to be cancelled due to bad weather but the mini tennis juniors had a lovely time in the morning playing a mixture of singles and doubles. All our players enjoyed themselves very much and all had at least one win. A big thank you to Paul Nelson from Willand tennis club and Georgina Loosemore from the LTA who organized this. It was a great experience for them all and we are hoping to continue in the competitive spirit of things from now on!
